Thread: Any boosted guys have this issue?

Have you found the problem yet?? I just had this same issue have with me tonite. going into boost the battery/brake/air bag lights came on. when I turned the car on an hour later, the lights came on and stayed on. I just shut the car off and drove the B13.

^JTstyle Most likely that is your alternator getting ready to take a dump on you. There is an off chance it could be your battery too so test that thing as well with your volt-o-meter.The battery should put out 12-15V when disconnected from the car. And the alt should put out 13-15V at 1500rpm. If it is your alt don't mess around with Autozone or the likes rebuilt junk. I suggest you give Andreas Miko a call and pick a low miles JDM replacement.

i worked at an advanced for awhile for fun i could go through a wall of alternators and prolly have a 50/50 shot of finding a good one didn't matter make or model. i always tested them before i sold them or installed them for that matter. anybody who gets an alternator from any auto parts store always test it before you walk out it's a hell of a lot easier than putting it in and finding out the hard way. not that that was your problem just wanted to share. might help but might not but i would make sure you have the factory bolt for the alternator i had one that was wrong in another car for awhile and that thing although it seemed to fit perfect it rattled like crazy and made a mess
