Thread: Why are people running these HUGE ass turbos on these cars?

That's usual just about anywhere. VA is 20mph or 80+mph. Class 1 misdemeanor, $1k fine, 30 days in jail, 60day to 6month suspension of license, and bunch of points etc.

I'd have a house a minivan and 1.5 kids .. you know the normal grown up thing to do .
Instead i have a apartment three cars i put money into for uknown reasons other then self pleasure , hide money and parts from the wife. And awnser the usual stupid question from assholes asking me why did i put that kind of money into a sentra .

I like my 2871, but my current goal is to try and make as much power as possible at 12 psi. Crazy enough, even at 12 psi with this car I *rarely* run into anything that requires more boost.



Built motors are still prone to detonation just like a stock motor. Unless you're running a big turbo and/or race gas, anything past a certain psi level out of the efficiency range of the turbo isn't good. For me, that's 17psi. I've never taken this turbo over 17psi, but with a tank of race gas it'd be fun to see what 22psi does.

I agree 100%.... Or people that by big turbos with expensive boost controlers just to run off the gate... Kills me.

11.4 with a 2.0 60ft on a gtir turbo at 20psi. im upgrading to a 2871r but my car is a daily so thats good enough for me. im also frequently hassled about why i would put so much work into a sentra but its usually from a mustang or evo owner that for some reason never want to line up.

in cali, you dont only go to possibly jail for 100+ MPH, the car may also gets impounded. better come up with 1.4k per month (space rent at the impound lot) or its straight to the county auction to hopefully get it back.

At what MPH?
