haha, its gonna fit just fine. It will clear my hood and everything better than my t67 h.o. setup did thats for sure. Only thing i have to redo is my upper coolant neck fitting. Need to move it back to where it 90's and reweld it so i can fit my 90 deg fitting between it and the turbo. No biggie.

No comment. Me and this dude been arguing about this for the longest I'll always run a big turbo stick to your T2 based turbos wangwang.

am i saying that a well done t28 in a really light car cant hang with me? i am sure there's a few but they will be pushing that turbo to the limits blowing hot steam on the pistons, it would be only a matter of time before destruction,

ever since going large frame my trannies have taken a lot less beating, i was going through stacks every 3 months when i was racing hard, i have been on the same stack since going large frame. theres alot of benefits but at the end of the day its "to each its own"

AMEN! Maybe he'll listen to you guys smh

highway rolls and drag(strip) racing.

3071 is largest turbo I would dream of for this platform for the street. For drag racing cars, I say go as big as you want/need to.

Do you guys think sti injectors at 4bar w/ jwt program of course can support a 3071r? I'm in between choosing that or the 2871r, but wanna stay safe as possible. Sticking with t2 since I already got t2 mani and can't afford a baller t3 mani right now lol..

I actually gained traction with a T3 turbo. But that's because I didn't hit full boost till about 5k rpm. Keeps the torque numbers low thus breaks less trans and axles.

For daily driving I'm far more pleased with the GTiR that I'm running now then the Precision T3 that I was running before. Being able to build full boost by 3300 rpm on heavy P11 ftw.

I am sad to say that it happened to me...
I am not much of going to the track to race, do it somewhere else...
But I went to test some of my setups and on the track my T3 T60 at 13psi made higher times than my GTi-R T28(which made 283whp), because of the traction, not because it was slower...
I went with bigger turbo because once you get traction there is simply no comparison, the pull of the bigger turbo is simply awesome...
