O2 housing advise needed
I have been thinking of what O2 housing to get for my turbo set up and i can't decide which is a better choice. Looking at getting to TurboFx o2 housing but can't decide which is a better choice, the recirculated or the screamer. Also is there a performance difference between the two? Is the screamer too loud to drive on the streets without getting the attention of the local PD? Any insight will help, thanks guys

I did quite a bit of reading about this subject before deciding on the bellmouth.

Everything I've read regarding the divorced option is that the screamer pipe is pretty loud. I guess that's 'relative' to what you consider loud. I've read some people getting the screamer pipe re-welded into the downpipe. I've also read of people extending the screamer pipe under the car and installing a small muffler onto it for sound deadening.

I chose bellmouth because Javier(turbofx) needs your exhaust housing so he can completely seal it from the wastegate opening(a good and proper thing to do..I'm just impatient) and I didn't want to mess with the screamer pipe.

Regarding performance difference, no one has yet to dyno a before/after with these so can't say for sure but you should see gains with either housing over the stock housing. You should see better gains w/the divorced housing.

LOL that "screamer" pipe is the exact same sound that an External wastegate would have. Its not loud and the sound is heaven on a 38mm. Anyone who thinks its loud is old

I 2nd that screamer pipes are not loud

I have a divorced 38mm Tial and unless I am well into boost, the wastegate does not open = not loud.

Once it opens up it is still not as loud as people would think.
