Thread: N1 vs 20V blog, ate TB screw, fixed... i think.

I thought I was going to be able to take it easy for 500 miles... ya right. Got the car on the road today. Checked for oil pressure, leaks, and made sure it didn't overheat. About 5 minutes later... brap brap brap shift baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

The N1 cams sound like a race car. They rip.

my theory is, if its going to break, its going to break first time out! so better to find out sooner then later.

and yes i loved the sound of my n1's, shit reminded me of the Interceptor from Road Warrior

I know this is a bit far back in the conversation, but IMO you did it right not doing anything radical to try to keep the boost the same. Keeping the boost control method and setup the same is best. The different cams themselves are going to promote flow (limiting boost) or hinder flow (which allows boost to build) and IMO keeping the boost curve perfectly identical would have told us something, but keeping the boost control method the same tells us something else which is nice.

Hey Coheed, get that oil swapped out soon. No reason to wait 500 miles to get oil contaminated with coolant/water out of there.

feels great to have the car back again. And now that I've built a shed I have room to put all my lawn equipment. This makes my 2 car garage fit the super sentra easily with tons of room to walk around and work on it.

The wife's sentra is still outside lol.

My sentra that is torn apart with no motor/tranny in sight is in the garage under lock and key.

My wife's '08 Lexus IS is outside.

Oh well.
