In fact the more I look at your testing the more I think det pistons and plain sr16ve cams would make a very good combination on the street. Great work well done!

Also the dyno posted on this page what are the two colors and what boost?

The SR16 made more power, I believe red, the 20V held power a bit longer, in blue.

13psi with the GT30R twinscroll setup.

so whats the next step?

I'd like to see you try one of them xcessive intake plenums.

I wouldn't mind testing one, but the car is at the limits of what it can make reliably. The 740cc injectors are stressed to make 500whp. If the Xcessive can improve power throughout, perhaps it would be worth trying. But the setup is low-key, and that makes it get less attention come emissions-testing-time.

I really think the next step should be a tunable ECU.

Those ECU's should be similar to the OBD2 P10's. Relevance in that post though?

Tbh not really any I just noticed it. And the car seems to be a handful as it is with the jwt. Just be interesting to see what it could do with a realtime. But I dont want to start that shitfight again.

Car runs solid. Congrats Coheed on getting it to where you like it! Great Information as usual!

Here's a few things I have come to discover over the last couple weeks. The N1 cams don't seem to have lost any bottom end power to the 20V, as the dyno suggests. The car on high boost gets retarded. Driving today with my buddy the car showed some serious torque steer and the clutch showed its first major signs of not being able to cope with the output. If the tires hook up hard, the clutch will start slipping in 3rd.

So after playing for several miles, the clutch is ok. But it doesn't come close to holding the 490ftlbs it was rated for. This clutch would need replacement before any real drag passes could be had. There's no reason this setup shouldn't be good for a really low 11.

The torque steer is just crazy though, and the car pulls amazing.

Cruising on the freeway at 3krpm at 75mph and 6th still has a decent pull to it. I can even pull up hills comfortably at low rpm with these cams, so the down-low power delivery is pretty good.
