Greg, once again, is the MAN. Had a gasket in stock. He says it will be shipped tomorrow. Should be here by the end of the week. Next Sunday I should have time to put it together. Might as well put in a new crank sensor too, since that is busted from the last put-together.

Glad to hear this bro. One time our 240sx sucked in a TB screw and it f***ked the piston up. It got caught between the flat spot on the head and the piston, crushed the piston down on the top ring and the ring was stuck.

Congrats man! I think the N1 cams saved your block and pistons. The low lobes are small and have lots of duration over lift, thus the screw never saw the valve fully opened to drop in.

That's what's scary lol. I revved the motor up, thinking it was a flooded cylinder. Then it stopped misfiring, and tapping. So, I just got VEry VEry lucky.

The valve reliefs on these pistons probably helped as well. They are extremely large and deep. And boy was I happy to see no marks from detonation on the pistons or combustion chambers. That means great things!
