Hope it's an easy fix!

The engine swallowed a throttle body screw. Add another SR death to the list. The piston is fucked. The turbine on the brand new turbo is the next up for inspection. Which, if damaged, will result in me being very very pissed off. This turbo is only 5k miles old.

The turbo should be fine, same shit happened to me. I didn't bend any valves because I caught it right when the screw got sucked in. The piston and combustion chamber ended up with a bunch of little dings in but the top piston ring got stuck when the screw got mashed on the high part of the piston. The car would smoke up the block.

Yeah, it's bullsh**. I can't believe it worked itself loose. I tried an impact driver to remove the screws and they wouldn't come out. So I used some glue to hold them in there, just in case. The heads of the screws are slightly stripped, they were in there really really tight.

And now this happens... It really makes me think "F* Nissan". They've only had this issue with throttle body screws for 10 years, and you still hear of people swallowing screws on their new cars. They need to get their sh** together.

At any rate, I don't want to have to do a whole new build on the motor. I guess I'm just going to have to figure out what I want to do when it's all torn to pieces.

After that shit happened to me even through I had thread lock on it, when I replaced everything I made sure to tap the thread and bend the screw a little on the backside.
