Thread: What kinda of power should expect???

These are some of the details of my build:

272 degree cams
Ported sr20 head 9,000rpm ready
Precision sc61 turbo
ARP studded block w/ forged pistons and rods
Haltech ecu
1000cc injectors
44mm wastegate
3" downpipe and exhaust
JDM P11 LSD Hydraulic gearbox

I have not purchased the turbo and manifold yet so any suggestions?
and any suggestions on strengthen the gearbox?

What kinda a power I should expect from this build??

What power are you shooting for? Remember to retorque them studs after breakin, yuh don't want the head to raise like some of those ppes on the forum, LanceSR20. I would suggest getting the extractor type mani from is it Lovefab or Protech and the SC61 is a nice cheaper model GT35R basically and hauls ass. Who is doing the tuning for you Prentice, Raymond or yourself? Strengthening the box all really depends on what you really want to make. The P11 box has taken a thrashing but it depends on your drivign style, dumping the clutch will obviously do more harm than good.

I am a protech fan so I would say get a protech e/l mani. I like the SC61 but for a little more money you can get a 35r. I have one for sale if you are interested.

As for power, it all depends on the turbo, the tune and how much boost.

If you are shooting for over 500hp, I would sell the ARPs and get some Greddy or Tomei head studs so you don't have head lift.
