i boosted a bone stock roller rocker back in the day with an 18g turbo, i had tons of fun i was reving it to 7500rpms. they are really smooth reving engines and the butt dyno tells me it was pulling harder than my highport

Oh ISH! I didn't know it was a roller rocker you had the 18g on! You had the t517z (18g in a more compact housing) or whatever it is right? Now im all ears! Please post or sejd me dyno sheets and videos ect lol. Once I get my hands on another ve ill max the 18g out. Dude with a fully built b16 made 430whp

Frank the Tank!

Have you ever been in a boosted P11? Holly crap what a difference, car actually feels fun! I haven't driven my daily p11 in a month, I don't want to either because I will have to get out and push it

Bumping this up since I now have an better tranny for p10. Im strongly considering boosting my rr with a t25 or t28, and having it as a reliable/funner daily driver as opposed to the ve I have waiting to be swapped in. This motor is begging for something more, it does feel better with the lowport manifold as opposed to my p11 and the gas mileage is about the same. Hoping for a smooth daily with a bit more power.

pics of boosted rr motors, specifics of mods (ecu,IM,inj) and issues or things note worthy please

i have some msd 50lb inj for my rr (stock IM ect). Do i need msd clips spliced into the stock rr harness?

What's your guy's take on this setup.

VE block, old DE 9.5:1 cr pistons, VE piston coolers, VE oil pump, RR head. I'm liking the idea of piston coolers, which is one of the reasons VE is so good at detonation prevention.

I am thinking the VE oil pump might be too strong for RR. RR's come with a much weaker oil pump (no cam oilers), so it might be too weak for power the turbo.

Are you going to weld the extra oil hole shut?
