My B13 got 410 miles out of a tank with the roller rocker. I was shocked. This was with no ps/ac though.

The roller rockers are fairly impressive, on fatty P11's, thus I don't doubt it would get great mileage on light B13's.

Throwing the rockers is making me not want to bother with it though. Nate did you rev yours much higher is that why? If keeping it at stock 6700 redline is not a problem then I might be fine with it (maybe upgrade the springs to VE ones to raise the red to 7200 or something).

There's the legend of a local KC guy. Ran a stock RR with a 28RS @ 22psi on weekends using Xylene for years. Car still lives even after 5 years of abuse.

I think when people start messing around with the rr's valvetrain changing springs to stiffer is when they start popping rockers, I know the stiffer springs help with keeping the valves floating and all that but my roller is completely stock and I take it anywhere from 72-7500 rpm when shifting and up to 8k taking off. Never had I problem with the engine running afterwards. I think its a pretty fun little engine but when you mess with it I think she messes with you back. Just keep it simple. Shift early its a whole lot better anyways. Just my 2 cents.

I know the guy from chile(I keep forgetting his s/n) made well over 450 on a stock RR with the help of meth. How much power a RR can hold depends on setup and tune. I really likee RR motors though. I actually like al SR's, minus the SR18.

My B15 threw a rocker with <1000miles on it when it was new... Never had seen over 5k rpm.

My later issues had to do with ramp angle of the cam. If you stay with S3r or stock cams with springs and retainers... you should be better off than stock.
