you cant upgrade the turbo, injectors, cams, maf or nothing without a tuneable ecu man, thats nuts..

the gtir manifold is better then the t25 manifold, maybe just get the manifold and a 2871, sti injectors, z32 maf and the nismotronic setup, even on stock cams you shouldn't have an issue getting 300whp and prolly 320-340 on the same boost with cams. or you could say fuck the cams and save for the ve head, everything on the list already will work great at that point.

is this where you wanna be when jesus comes back? sittin here making fun of poor little ol joe dirt?

i think we agree?

Haha you and your Joe dirt quotes, of course I know I can't upgrade the turbo or even up the boost past like 10 psi tops without a tune. I think I may go the DET route... I heard that the VVL head gasket is good for all DET applications? Is this true?

So if I got a VVL head gasket to keep my motor DET and got ARP studs I'd be good for a bigger turbo, injectors and tune... Is what I'm thinking...

i'd use mazworx studs if i were to go that route, also be sure to use the metal VET gasket if your going to use a ve gasket lol.

I was gonna get this?

VVL Metal Head Gasket, This is the factory “Metal Head Gasket” for the SR VVL Engines. This head gasket should hold more power for turbo applications and is less likely to blow

And then this?

Mazworx SR20 Head stud Kit - Cylinder Head - Mazworx

i believe so, but you may call and actually talk with greg about it. as for the studs that should work great.

you may consider upgrading the valve springs if your going to upgrade cams, i would. retainers i dont believe are absolutely necessary but if the budget allows why not.

I really want a VE head to match my 20v Valve Cover I ordered :'(

then get the ve head, gtir mani, 2871, sti injectors and nemu

you might need to do something about the coolant lines tho because i think u have to use the ve water neck (thermostat housing pipe to water pump) but i'd just run off where the tb coolant lines are..

def invest in a wideband or take the car to the dyno right away for tuning. im sure u could prob figure out how to get a rough tune tho.
