confused why you bought the ARP studs, when its a known fact they dont work well in our engines?

and looks like you had it easy with the control arm bushing getting stuck in there like that, we had to use a torch to get mine off last night lol

I read a lot of people on here that use ARP studs and haven't had a problem. I heard about the "not bottoming out the block" problem too so I asked Greg about it and he said it was BS and that they work fine.

I still have to get a lot of the bushing out, gotta figure out how to separate the sub frame so I can get the rest of it out.

So I looked on the car and it looks like there's two bolts under the subframe where it sandwiches the control arm bushings in? I'm guessing you take those out to be able to get the rest of the bushing out and the new one in?

I still have the donor car so I'll be taking the ignition switch out and putting it into my B13, I just used a reciprocating saw to cut the side of the top cap off and then a chisel to take the other part of the cap off, I might buy an ignition switch from like rock auto to get a good top cap that I can use as well as those bolts that snap off. I might be able to salvage the one in my B13 and just use that one though so we'll see.

I wasn't very organized when I was taking things apart and part of the repercussions of that is not knowing what bolts are what :/ I'm having a hell of a time getting the rear motor mount bolted up... This might be a stretch but if I take a pic of the bolt I'm using could someone confirm if it's the right one? Rookie mistake I know... My brother was helping me take everything apart and I started labeling things but the things he took apart he didn't so I just thought that we would wing it... haha

I sat in it today and was totally reminded of how fun it is to drive that thing! Can't wait til it's running again!

im lost man... your questions are vague and usually can be answered with some searching.

I was asking how to get the control arm bushings in but I am thinking the bolt underneath is what holds the subframe up?

I was also asking about the torque sequence for the head? I have never heard about loosening the bolts after tightening them? But that's what the FSM had said?

I was also a little confused about what they meant by "valve cover sequence"?

I'll take pics to show the status of the car as it sits now. You've been all through this lynch and know what your doing so your input is valuable to me

first off, your control arm questions are so easily answered by going out there and turning some wrenches, thats why no one including my self has answered that.

the head bolt question can be answered with some searching or looking through the FSM

same with the valve cover question.
