For reference, S14 and S15 SR20DET FSM both list:
With engine @ normal operating temp, check oil pressure
with engine running under no-load:
@ idle = More than 11 psi
@ 3200 RPM = 46 - 57 psi

I would suggest running a thicker oil, but you're already running a pretty thick oil. Where is the car located?

Nice info jp, by any chance do you know if the same applies for Avenir DET?
I have iddle at 16-18 at normal operating temp, and 60-70 at 3000rpm on a an avenir DET

every gauge reads differently as well and most of the aftermarket gauges have such a wide range in between each number its hard to actually get an accurate reading. It will also vary from the oil and where you are getting your source for the gauge.

I'm in Texas and using delvac right now for break in. So I guess I won't stress too much and wait till I pit the t6 in it and see what it does then. Thanks for the replies I'll keep y'all posted

Going to get a ve pump friday for this very reason. Seing your gauge read 8psi on a 100deg day is scary to me

TX gets really got..wondering of other's opinions but possibly running an even thicker oil, especially if you're running A/C all the time which makes things even hotter. Maybe a 15w-50 or 20w-XX?

Unfortunately I don't have the W10 nor W11 FSM.
However, here is more reference information on oil pressures:

----------------------
91-99 G20 FSM - SR20DE
00-02 G20 FSM - SR20DE w/exception= > 11.7psi @ idle
91-00 Sentra FSM - SR20DE
01 Sentra FSM - SR20DE w/exception= > 11.7psi @ idle
S14 & S15 FSM - SR20DET

For all of these^^^
> 11psi @ idle
46 - 57 psi @ 3200 RPM
----------------------

----------------------
From the FSM for B13 & N14 NX2000 Sunny Sentra SR20DE SR20DET (Europe & non-USA)
> 14psi @ idle SR20DE and SR20DET
47 - 61 psi @ 3200 RPM for SR20DE
50 - 64 psi @ 3200 RPM for SR20DET

S13 CA18DET
> 11 psi @ idle
51 - 60 psi @ 3000 RPM
----------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------
Reference Link VE oil pressure
SR16VE:
1.4kg/cm2 = 19psi at idle
3.6kg/cm2 = 51 psi at 3000rpm
7.1kg/cm2 = 101psi at 6000rpm

SR16VE N1:
2.0kg/cm2 = 28psi at idle
3.6kg/cm2 = 51 psi at 3000rpm
7.1kg/cm2 = 101psi at 6000rpm

"Thats why its not reccomended to stick a VE oil pump on DE block with VE head, plenty of stupid pressure, but decrease in flow. Also highlights that VE has bigger oil galleries."
