Cams shipped, should be there next week. Let the number guessing begin!

Coheed you have a graph of 20V's on your current setup?

I have yet to see any of the Kelford cams perform any serious gains over the factory VE stuff. Perhaps those people using these cams don't contribute to forums, but it makes me very weary to buy any $1000 cams with no proven gains whatsoever.

Interesting....

Looking at those specs I wonder how 16ve intake and n1 ex would go on a turbo car...

OE SR16VE N1:
Low lobe INTAKE - .331" (8.4) LIFT / 220º DUR - Low lobe EXHAUST -.313" (7.95) LIFT / 244º DUR - OVERLAP - 0º - RED
High lobe INTAKE - .472" (12.0) LIFT / 288º DUR - High lobe EXHAUST -.469" (11.9) LIFT / 288º DUR - OVERLAP - 74º - GREEN

OE SR20VE 20V:
Low lobe INTAKE - .398" (10.11) LIFT /228º DUR - Low lobe EXHAUST - .327" (8.3) LIFT / 244º DUR - OVERLAP - ---º
High lobe INTAKE - .472" (12.0) LIFT /278º DUR - High lobe EXHAUST - .439" (11.15) LIFT / 280º DUR - OVERLAP - 57º

Comparing these two, what are your thoughts? I think the lower overlap of the 20V cams will help hold power longer, even with more backpressure with more boost, but lower pressures may show in the n1 cam's favor.

You guys remember this dyno right? SR16 vs the 20V. Boost was very similar, but runs were not back-to-back. I believe this was 13psi or so with the GT30r setup.

you can see the power start dropping up top with the SR16 cams, just before i let off. The 20V held a bit better up top, but seemed to lose quite a bit of midrange.

Looks like N1's might do better up top and have the mid range of 16's.
