what size oil feed line do you have. if your running a t25 it can be sent to forced performance to be upgraded to a t25/28 can. You can also send it to g-pop shop to be rebuilt or upgraded.

+1 on forced performance. I am running one of their big 18g's currently and think its all around a great turbo and it can be re built.

I'm running the gfd oil feed kit. I'm just gonna let it sit for now. I'm in no hurry to drive it or have it on the road. I'll probably just wait till I upgrade the turbo and can afford to tune it properly.

I have been there my self. I had a gt2871r that only lasted a few thousand miles. i also had a ihi vf 34 ball bearing fail in under 10k. That's why i went back to journal bearing turbos, cheaper and they can be rebuilt.

I was running the proper oil line, restrictor, changed oil frequently used turbo timer religiously etc....

Yeah, I love the ball bearing turbo, but I can't find a rebuild kit for. I can a rebuild kit for a journal bearing turbo all day long for $50 or less. And really the only noticeable difference is how it keeps spinning after shutdown, which is kinda cool sounding.
