Thread: DET with funny idle.

I put a det in mine and when it warms up it idles funny. It will jump from 1k to 1500 rpm. If i cant find anything on the vacuum hoses and im pretty sure thats why. I plugged most of them and some others i think i put where they belong. Can anyone help with my situation

Bleed your coolant more if its bouncing. You can always tell you have a coolant leak if it bounces but your vacuum is good. These cars coolant temp sensors do alot for the ecu's.

ok thanks. ill try that. when i got the motor the coolent wasnt clean. so ill definately wash out the hole system.

I just found out that the Japan temp sensor and the American temp sensor Is not the same. From what I understand, the American harness will not read the Japan sensor. Does this sound right?
