Thread: Injector Options

Anyone want to lend me a top feed fuel rail with injectors just for test fitting purposes on the N1 manifold? Will return after test fitting.

RMR sells fuel rail stock in a few sizes, order 2 feet, cut to your desired length and then mark where you need the injectors and the drill in a drill press...tap the ends for your desired fitting and your done. they also sell brakcets or you can make a set. a gspec(custom steel) will work on a N1 as well

I'm really considering this as an option. But 2 questions:
1. Dash 6, Dash 8, or Dash 10? I'm assuming Dash 8... RMR
2. Once the marks are made to line-up the injectors, how are the injector ports made between the injector and the rail? Is it as simple as drilling out the holes by the size of the injector O-ring? Or do you really need the injector port toll on the RMR website.

I've always used stock fuel rail, so my knowledge on top feed rails are elementary.

just drill it a CH smaller than the o-ring so it seals tightly, you dont really need the tool to drill the rail. i used a drill bit and chamfered the leading edge to more or less debur it and never had an issue. depending on what HP levels you are looking for should help you make your decision...650+ use the -10 rail, if you looking to make less the -8 will be more than suitable

which injector? civic? evo? I'm pointing myself more toward the Fuel Injector clinic 1100cc's.

I have some new precision 1200 and custom made rails drilled for -8. Brackets would be the only problem
