should be able to keep them at fairly low duty while at 5 bar, flow is narrow cone as well.

Definitely need to make sure they are up to it. ID injectors are built for that kind of thing. Like I said ID 1000's and ID2000's can handle 100psi base pressures and up to 150 psi of total pressure before having issues.

You need to make sure more importantly that the fuel pump can handle the pressures. You could overstress the pump, cause high amp draw and ultimatly pop the fuse. I know at 100 psi the Bosch 044 draws somewhere near 22-24 amps. So you got to be careful and make sure its within the pumps pressure range or you will have serious problems. Its nothing to mess with You definitely wouldnt want to lose your fuel pump during a WOT big boost pull.

Yah, but they will be seeing 5-bar pressure plus maybe 2-bar of boost or more. No matter the duty cycle, most injectors will lock open at 7-bar or even less...

Yeah the ID injectors are the only ones I know that can see 150psi of fuel pressure before having issues. You pay the money for them. Did I mention my ID2000 injectors were $830 bucks for the 4. ID1000's are a little over half that at about $450 for the set. Either way ID injectors are known for their high quality and high pressure capability. There is not another injector out there that I would run.

I started a thread on Honda-tech a while back asking why the ID2000's are twice the price of the ID1000's and it had to do with the Bosch housings that they use for the ID2000's are 4X the cost of the ID1000 ones. Internal parts are very similar as far as that goes and cost. This was info given by the two main people involved in the design and making of the injectors (Joe from Locash and Tony from T1 Race Developement)

Going for this much power is not cheap by any means.

its not just id injectors that can handle it, but any injector that is based on the new bosch design. That includes injector wizard fics ect. my siemens deka injectors is a ford design but they can handle the pressure as well mostly because they are high impedance.

on my car with siemens deka 80lbers i run a little over 4 bar to make my injectors flow 1000cc

I was under the impression that the bigger your inj in high imp the less base fp you can run. I run rc750cc hi imp

Far from the truth, it depends on the injector. Both RC and MSD injectors are very similarly made and dont like high base fuel pressures.

you could run twin rails cheaper than the cost of the ID's...

By the time you modify the manifold for it, buy another fuel rail and another set of injectors and the misc fittings you would need for two rails you will have spent the same amount to just buy ID2000's lol. Much easier to tune one set of injectors than two. I wont go with two rails until I absolutely need to.
