pretty sure that it's genuine. Part #'s are all right, tag is perfect, etc. Besides that, the guy I got it from deals with pretty much anything he can get his hands on if you catch my drift. I don't think he realized what he had.

I hope I am wrong but the nut on the compressor shaft doesn't look right from what I can tell of the PDF on the holset page. The machining on the compressor housing looks off too, maybe it's just a different turbo or it's been rebuilt. I would be very suspicious of any Holset that is not sold as used or rebuilt.

3596901 build has a hex nut (P/N 3760250), The build in that pdf is a H2D not an HX50. The easiest way to tell is if you post some pics of the turbione side.
