Yep, JK has it exactly right.

Wastegate placement will only get you soo far to keep boost creep away. A 44mm gate will be perfect for a 6262 with maybe a tiny bit of creep up near redline.

Like mentioned if he is not scared to go up on the boost a 38 will be fine.

hi boost mostly its not my daily
low boost will be set @ 20psi

if low boost is 20psi, then run the 38mm gate.

This thread caught my eye, Im running a log manifold with a gt2871 60trim. i have a 35mm gate on it for now (project in pieces) now should i ditch it for a 44mm? 20 psi will most def be high boost.

Nope you should be just fine. I was running a higher flowing T3 with a 38mm on a log and had no creep at all at 12 psi.
