So what would be a safe boost level to run a 38mm on a medium frame turbo

Since you plan on going 6262 I assume you are going up on the boost a 38mm will be fine. I am using a Tial 38 on my set up.

Well klassickrican has the 6262 I have a 3076 with a tial 38mm but I not sure what to run the boost level at this car is my daily and its a stock de blocked so I dont wanna blow it because boost is to high but I also dont want to blow it cause of boost creep

A 38 will be fine with that turbo. As far as what's a safe boost level that is hard to answer. It's all in the tune. 97% of the time if tuned properly a stock DE will take whatever the average person will throw at it.

I have the 6262 and I was running the 44mm tial , I work @ JGS part time and after the last 6 months or so I will tell you wastegate selection has allot of variables , depending on back pressure and several other things , but if I was you I would stick to a 44mm Tial , or 50mm JGS gate (working there I can get a hell of a deal on them though ) , and I am sure it will work great , but if you get good WG priority on the Manifold , and I am sure Bruce give it the best location he can , you can probably just run a 38 to 40mm WG and be just fine , WG placement can do allot for you as far as control goes

If you have the choice, absolutely go with the 44mm gate.

Going with too small of a gate and trying to run a lower pressure on a big turbo will be the worst mistake you can make.

I have had extreme cases where cars would creep from 9 to 20+ psi on free flowing turbo setups, with similarly designed manifolds and turbo sizes. There is no reason to even think about running a 38mm gate on a tubular manifold with a turbo size bigger than a T3/T04e 50 trim.. unless you plan on running 20psi all the time.
