Something for fair weather. Not really worth the cost and fabrication involved if you plan on driving the car in the rain.

Case in point with the above photo...

^^ i drove one in the rain a few times. just make sure the filter is high.

i don't see the point in our cars either. I have to agree with asthon. we have enough engine space for lots of turbos.

I dare you to post your setup on the net after you have completed it.
1 hacksaw away from that entire setup being stolen with ease...

dumbest shit ever

we had an STS kit on our GTO at UTI, the car put down mid 3's bone stock, put the sts kit on and got 370ish out of it.

figured ok somethings not right, smoked both the intake and exhaust sides, found a couple leaks. threw it on the load cell made sure the tune was spot on.

up'd the boost to 15, still only put down 415

biggest waste of money ever, and dumbest looking shit ever. we could have got farther with a big cam and a 50 shot

^^ bet you had boost leak. My buddies C6 made 668 at like 7 psi.

Nah, hot metal things don't like cold water splashed on them.

i agree with ashton as well...on a v8 theres so much more displacement to push energy down the exhaust but in a 2 liter i just don't see really any turbo spooling for shit that far from the energy source....might get a t25 to 8 psi by redline...hehe
