I think if end goal is 400whp+ I'd go 3071R. 400whp is kinda at the end of the 2871R efficiency range and I'd worry about running too hot on pump gas.

Thus why I'm opting for a turbo equivalent to the 3071R...I just don't think the price is justified for that turbo.

Sometimes when you have to many options it's hard to decide. They can pretty much all get you where you want to be, but which can do it with the least amount of effort is the key.
