Just a quick t25 kit question..
I have just a stock P11. I have turbo'd a few things, with all the right parts of course, but this time I wanted to just slap a quick t25 kit on this car just for fun. I only plan on keeping it another year before I buy a new car.

So mind you, I dont want to mess with ECU and injectors, and tune and all that junk, and ill more then likely slap the little supra side mount I have sitting in the garage on it. I just want to have a little fun with it before it let it go for cheap.

Its an auto too which makes zero difference to me.

my question is WILL IT RUN? What will go first if anything, will it be like the TQ converter or tranny?

I just figured it would be kinda fun to slap a turbo on it. If I break it so be it, ill get a new car sooner, but I just want it to run lol.

Thanks for the quick look and any info.

The only thing the car might do well is idle. The trans will not take it for long. The stock ecu and injectors will be maxed out before you know it. This combo is asking for problems. If you don't mind losing a potential 1-2,000 because your P11 will be a rolling shell once it pops, go for it. I wouldn't.

Bes don't give good advice like this, once the motor pops I can pick it up cheaply.

I ran my NX like this for a while with the stock BB top mount and a hood scoop. at ~6-6.5 psi it was actually running awesome. it felt like a 14.2 sec car on my butt dyno (and after running other cars that did around that in the quarter) I never had a wideband hooked up to it to monitor anything, but I was in the same boat as you, didn`t really care. It ran well and didn`t ping or detonate, plugs looked great. mine was stick of course, and still ran/drove fine when I sold it.

its a 2k p11... its a rr motor i do believe. Even if I do blow the motor, I can for under 1k pick up a motor trans from a local guy and put together the parts for a 5spd swap if i want to even keep it. Im saving for an isF or a ctsv... I just want to kill this car after a while but still have some fun with it before I do.

I do think i have some 370's sitting around in the garage.... but will they work with a stock ecu? Never really slapped anything together for lack of a better comparison.. I have always tried to do things right, but this is really an impulse project lol.

Im willing to bet the first thing that would go would be the tranny.

I'd rather throw nitrous at it and hope it lasts a couple of pulls. Its a shame to destroy a run car intentionally man. If you could do a 5 speed swap, then I would say go for it. The fuckin automatic trannys in our P11's is Nissan's curse for us.
