Thread: B15 won't go into 2nd gear! Help

Sorry it took forever to get back to this, school is killin me. Alright spoogy there was a check ball hanging out on a magnet that sits in there, which I assume would fix the problem, but why would the check ball come out? If it did once, it's likely to do again I would assume, has yours since? Secondly, I have a cracked bearing on the shaft that sits on the outside, under the rear main bearing cover. I'm assuming that's the main shaft? Forgive me, I know nothing about transmissions. I'm planning on looking through it, putting that check ball back in, and replacing that bearing. If any of you have any suggestions, let me know, I appreciate/need any help I can get.

I have yet to pull the stacks, gotta go back to school, but I'll look to see if that spring is broken where the ball came out of. Also I found that you can get the parts (check ball and or spring, whatever you need) from courtesy nissan. Fyi, all you need is the part number and any authorized Nissan dealer can get you the parts.
