I will double check all three bolts, pretty positive I've got them all in tight, but I've made mistakes before. I will keep you guys updated. Are these the mounts you were talking about? Auto Part Number 7.1105-G From Energy Suspension | StreetPerformance.com

Nope. Those are the inserts. The prothanes you gotta have the old mount removed and have these pressed into the metal housing of the mount. You can do it yourself if you have a big enough vise or a press.

did you look under the car near the rear mount to see if anything came lose or if the the trans is pushed up closer to the firewall?

did you run the tranny through the gears prior to install. I never put a used tranny in a car with out opening it up first. Never know what you will find.

Put the mounts in today as well as a new bushing on the shifter stabilizer. No luck though. I don't think the placement of the trans should be an issue (at least now) with new mounts installed. Nothing in loose that I saw under there today, I said earlier I couldn't downshift...but today I noticed I can downshift into second if I hold the shifter and go from a fairly high rpm. Unfortunately, I did not run the tranny through the gears b4 install, so (I'm hoping not) it could be internals...

I'm assuming you have tried to put it in second gear with the car off ?
