Very True! thanks for explaining the reason of my thread!...

it cuts ignition and allows unloading of the gear box, there for the shifter slides right in like butta. best way to think of it is like a air shifter on a bike. you can set the cut time also. i believe i have the cut time on my srt-4 to 110ms which is slow really. the best part is the 2step. there is no activation to use it as long as you press the clutch down first just hold the gas to the floor. the hardest part to get used to is not letting up on the gas pedal at all.

I know srt4 guys use this to help save their trannies. It works to a point. Awesome reviews for it though.

But what they really need is a driver mod, it's free.

I have it on my car and it did help. I know how to drive and perfected shifting without coming off the gas but when I put in the B15 box it just wasn't as easy as the B13 box. My ECU had the rev limit removed and I was using my 6AL box for rev limiting. The stock ECU had more of a hard cut which slowed the engine down enough to let the gear go in easy but with the soft cut it didn't. With this the gears go in like butter every time without shocking the tranny. Don't knock it till you try it.

No they don't.

Power shifting and/or WOT shifting without an ignition cut is not the same as no lift shifting with a cut.

When you regularly WOT shift you are reving the motor out when you press the clutch hurting the clutch and gear box MORE than usual.

You can use your feet to cut the ignition between shifts.

Yeah i have mine set up on my AEM EMS using the rally style anit-lag and its going to be wired into my clutch pedal switch, the one that triggers as soon as the clutch is depressed not the safety switch.

You can do the same thing with the Digital 6 box and use it both as the two-step and NLS by wiring the ground for the relay into the same clutch switch. So it will act as a two step and NLS

It is better on the trans because If you set it properly it will automatically rev match gears for you while keeping your boost up and rev matching the syncros making really quick changes very easy and easier on the transmission.

I dont know why I didnt use it before and cant wait to use it. Good thing with the AEM is I have both the two step which I can set lower and then the anti-lag rev limiter which I can set higher where the rpm will drop to.

Its a helpful tool and yes, much easier on your trans.

My Boy has this on his SRT4 and cut his time down by a few tenths..

these are badass, had one on my car for a while until I went standalone. Those of you that think you don't need no-lift shift don't know what you're missing. It keeps the turbo spooled like a 2 step between shifts. The software for them is awesome too.

I've been power shifting my car since 1994 when I bought it and could feel a big difference when I installed this. I know it doesn't sound as cool as to say " I can do it without a box" but it helps make it easier. Anything to make my job easier is a plus in my books.
