Looking over Coheed's VE-T Twin Scroll setup thread, I saw this post.
Looking at the head side of the manifold, you will see some head port marks. Basically it doesn't look like the manifold was aligned to the VE ports perfectly, thus it was an air restriction wall right at the ports.
This could explain why Coheed had issues with a log and VE. Now Coheed was running the newer log, and I would assume his is also VE flanged (Since all of my DET flanges sit lower then the exhaust ports).
