yep, build your motor up for a little higher rpm capability and big turbo it all you want.

Yep, learned that a long time ago. Going to bigger turbos was the best decision I ever made. Soo much more reliability at 400+whp than doing that same thing with a 2871. Not to mention that low end torque from the 2871 is not very nice on our transmissions. Moving the torque up and power up in the band seems to be much nicer on the transmissions.
Yep, just dont have too much fun with it. You may never want to go back to all motor
I tried to go ve and it just want the same and kinda glad I floated the valves into the pistons. If I hadnt my car might have still been all motor. I was like well, back to turbo.
Only thing I see wrong with the guys setup is that it looks like hes still using a log manifold with it. Definitely need to get a tubular manifold to make the best of it. With that size of turbo a tubular vs log is a huge huge difference.
