Yeah I understand that, my goal wasnt to just be top on a list. It was to have a fast as hell se-r that was still pretty reliable and my 60 trim setup was just that. 11.1 was on 24 lbs spinning all the way through most of 3rd gear and a slipping clutch in 4th, horrible 60's on dried up down to the nylon slicks. Not the best conditions to run in but i dealt with what i had at the time.

Went back out later but kept blowing couplers off cuz i skimped on a couple t-bolt clamps and then broke the axle but still had a 7.1 @108mph 1/8th with a shitty 1.9 bogged 60 and sputtering out due to a boost leak. Again it was always something that kept me from running to the true potential.

Anyways I dont want to clutter up this guys thread.

There is no need to run the 54c block. There is some advantages to it depending on what your wanting to push from it but running a 60 trim turbo you can run a ve or de or det block to its full potential without a problem. So unless you already have the block id say go a different route.

I know, you have to be in this scene and hobby/sport.

Again ive yet to not follow through. Just be ready at the convention to see some serious times ran, and not just by me im sure all these big builds will be bringing some heat. Gonna be insane. My goal is to have the worlds fastest SE-R and I wont stop till I reach it. I strive to be the best at what I do and that applies with everything I do, my job, my family, my friends, and my hobby.

This thread has gone way of coarse.
Ashton takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I'm sure he will meet his goal. All of these comments give him more passion.

For real, dude is a good sport. I actually believe we need more people like him and not Debbie-downers.

400whp is quite easily achievable with a regular de. Just need; big injectores, e85, right sized turbo(the one you listed should work), and a decent manifold.

Yeah you and Matt

Everyone takes a little licking here and there. We all have our quirks and personalities.

Its what makes us a very unique group. Like I said, this years convention is going to be insane.
