safe to run coolent for turbo thru by passed ERG lines?
i know everyone runs a coolent line from the TB to the turbo and back to the tb

I deleted my egr and noticed theres a coolent line for it, instead of by passing it (EGR) and not letting coolent get thru the TB, what if i ran a coolent line from the EGR cool side feed to the turbo and back to the egr hot side return feed coolent line?
only problem is, both the cool/hot lines are less than 4 inches from each other and are horizontal and are parallel to each other.
it also makes me wonder if its truly a "cool" and "hot" coolent line...
as side from that the lines themselves are very small.
just a thought, figured it would clean with SS braided lines.
but i dont see it providing enough coolent.
im no expert, shed some light for me

There's no such thing as a "hot and cool" coolant line, tbh. The only area in which there is a temp. drop is across the radiator core.

i understand, i didnt word it right.
i should have said, "upstream/downstream"? idk the proper terms
i mean cool side as in "upstream" and hot side as in "down stream"
i want to know if i can use the erg coolent lines to supplement the lines one would have splced into the tb coolent line "upstream" and engine line "downstream"

you understand what im saying, right?

You could count the coolant leaving the radiator as the cooler side IMO, but as far as your turbo is concerned it doesn't matter. If the lines are the right size I would say go for it.

Here's basically how things go.

Water neck → TB → EGR → Water neck

Sometimes it also goes through another section of the intake. Point is, all those things are in a row. You can put the turbo anywhere in that series if you'd like. Or by-pass one of those things and replace it with the turbo.

The heater core is the only other thing that gets water and it is on it's own offshoot.

alright good to know, thanks cliff, ben.

another queston.

if the coolent coming out of the egr coolent feed/return fitting is smaller than the fitting that bolts onto the turbo, is it a bad idea to run that due to coolent restriction?

It'll be fine. I'm skeptical that the lines are smaller, but even if they are, it's not like the turbo needs water really ever except at shutdown and then it works its convection magic. The fluid does not move very quickly at all. No big deal.
