your like the first person i've seen say that on this forum lol.. well maybe not, but one of the few atleast.

after seein my friend strip out a act disc, an several others here on the forum do it also. i would not waste my money on their products.

i agree with the fx500 though.

I ran ACT Xtreme PP w/ Street Disc combo on my 524 WHP & 409 WTQ and not a hiccup. Drove that car daily, too. Possibly getting ebay "ACT" disc?

I have an act hdpp with a 6puck. Chatters a good bit but I daily drive without much fuss.

Can a clutchmasters pressure plate be bought individually?

Going to chime in on ACT's issues as I've recently dealt with them, and their lack of support as well. 2 discs did the exact same thing. While the quality of bellhousing alignment was questionable on the 1st disc, the 2nd did the exact same after everything (and I mean everything) was re-done.

Having ACT say that it's not their fault, and pretty much say I was lying when I said it was for my 200sx at stock hp, I can't recommend them at all anymore. A product breaking / stripping out entirely on a very tired motor is one thing, but not standing behind it shows me they don't care to fix any production problems they have.

Older ACT discs are different, and hold up great, but the new stuff, specifically in the last year and moving forward, is a big no-no. For anyone looking at a new clutch setup, steer clear of ACT for discs.

So a CM 6 puck is actually smoother at shifting that the ACT ? This was my only concerned, i had a 6 puck before but it was too rough at shifting, stock clutch are very smooth which is the feeling that im looking for. As long as the CM 6 puck won't be as rough to shift as my old 6 puck i used to have in my accord (Even though it was a cheap brand) then it looks like CM has the winnings on this thread

However on this website it specifies drag use only: http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/partdetails/Clutch_Masters/Clutch/Clutch_Kits/Stage_5_FX500_6_Puck/13263

not street use, and i'm daily driving it, is this still good for daily driven ? Also i was looking at the fx300 which looks more capable for daily driven but more expensive, what do u guys think ?

the only issue is taking off from a stop. If you give the car enough gas and feather the clutch the take off is smooth. shifting gears is no problem just don't drop the clutch. After driving my stage 5 around its easy to control because the pedal is not super hard.

Another thing, how come the fx500 6 puck is 150 bucks cheaper that the fx300 if it holds more power?
