Help with Leak!!
Tried this on my own with a friend and it didn't really work, I need HELP!
My original oil line into block set up was off a 3T brass fitting, with the stock oil sending unit, my aftermarket one, and the steel braided oil line off the bottom............Well the weight caused the fitting to bend and start leaking oil. It eventually broke off into the block.
So we reverse threaded remainder and got it out of the block (Thank God), I was told by another turbo Nissan Enthusiast to just ditched the stock oil sending unit and it just turns the CEL light on. So I ditched it and ran a new fitting.
Same problem a couple days later, no the aftermarket unit is too heavy as well.
I need suggestions on the best way to set it up so it won't leak, I have heard about running the oil sending unit up to the firewall???
Any suggestions are much needed, Sorry for the long explanation and Thanks in Advance.....................
