Well I'm just wanting to get the car turbo again. I was gonna go 18G and GtiR manifold externally gated, and purchased the parts, but welding cast iron is a pain, and to top it off my 18g turbo needs to be rebalanced.

I do want to make the manifold still, and compare the power difference between a compact individual runner and a Equal Length Mani. For long time reliability I do want something pro built.

Only thing about this manifold is how low it sits. I'm going to have issues with it fitting well with a Koyo and slim fans. I do have a thinner radiator, but I really don't want to run only one slim fan with turbo and AC.

No kidding, time to do a big exhaust parts order yet again

Yours also sits higher, I take it that's a Love fab or Protech? My wastegate seems to clear radiator hose fine on mockup outside of the engine bay, but if I was using my Tial 38mm (not the MVS) then it would not fit.

Yes sir, I think this mani would be good eve at very low boost. Plan is to keep it at 12 psi max though.

ElementRacing made this one. I got it off the forum though.

I can't find their webpage, but Coheed has manifold from them and that's how I heard about it. Not sure how people go about ordering them though. I paid $725 plus shipping/fees for the manifold and practically brand new Tial MVS. So $500 for an equal length is a big win, if I could have found it earlier I wouldn't bother even building one.

great find! I wish they were closer to me, I'd have them make a manifold up for sure.

well, will have to see how much I have left to play with once I get my car running. That will be awesome on your ride.

that was previously mine brand new. i am sad to see it gone but i know it is getting some good use. I"m glad to be apart of the forum of seeing a part being passed around like everything else is.

I love my manifold from them. Its from SCH40 stainless so it is tough as nails. It gives up some flow to the SCH10, but I opted for the thicker material because if it is welded properly it holds up better over time.

No cracks in mine yet. We'll see what happens over the next year or so. With a big ass turbo hanging on the end for over a year now, it has been great.

That's awesome! I'm glad all of our used parts have good history .

If you don't mind me asking, what thickness piping did you order? It looks like SCH10, also how much did it run you brand new?

It's a very nicely build manifold. There are a few L's that could have been placed better, but honestly for a hand made piece it's top notch. Only thing is, the turbo sits very low on this manifold, so getting everything to fit will be a tricky.

Yeah, I had them lengthen the 3rd runner on mine to get it as close to EQL. The 3rd runner has the most bends, and is still shorter than the rest. But it isn't always about length of the runner. Velocity changes based on directional changes as well.
