more or less that is.

Actually Q45 TB its not 90mm its more like 84mm if I am not mistaken..
But if you guy's can share your discoveries we can always learn...
Can we use a 100mm TB and get some more power??

It all depends on the size of your runner/velocity stack/volume of your plenum.

Using RMR's standard oval tubing/stacks a Q45 is enough. If I remember correctly it measures out to something like 43mm? Just about the limit for a Q45 TB to make "optimal" power. A true 90mm TB would be ideal at that size.

Mine has 2"id runners and velocity stacks with the D shape plenum that I think its the biggest tubing and velocity stack available from them..

So you think i can benefit with a bigger TB??

Yes I believe a 100mm TB will have some positive results for you. There are a few others who will agree.

How you transition that from the MAF/intake tube will be interesting.

I hope you are at least using a lightning MAF.

At this point I am using Q45TB 3.5" piping and Q45 MAF..
But I can change it anytime ..

Its also all releative to what you really want to spend. Is it the absolute best ideal possible. No not my any means, but its working and pretty cheap aswell.

I'm going to be using the rmr 5" D plenum with 57mm runner and since I want to keepthe cost somewhere realistic I'm just using the q45. I like the oem quality and tps fitment aswell vs some of the junk aftermarket ones.

For those of you that are ordering velocity stacks, check on ebay. You can have them sent over from the UK for $45. That's the price of one v-stack from RMR.

I tend to trust talking deer when it comes to intake manifold design...
