Yeah a nice straight cut dogbox for the 6 speed would be nice. While they use the same gearstacks as the Evo 8 and 9 MR, there is one company overseas that makes a dogbox for the 6 speed and its very very pricey. Like 12k+ pricey plus the diff ring gear is different so couldnt use it anyways except for the gears themselves.
But i dont know how many people will fork out even say 7k for a dog engagement gearset. Right now my best option is the John Shephard 3-5 billet gear upgrade for the Evo MR 6 speed. pretty beefy compared to the stock gears that are already larger than our old 5 speeds. So far his gearsets are proven on their 700+awhp drag car and 500+awhp road race car. So i have no doubt it will hold 800-900 fwhp in a much lighter car at least for a while anyways. So if i break my stock gears thats what ill be going to.
