The bearing is a custom 800 series bearing. The adapter is also custom due to different stack heights and pressure plate diaphrams between the manufactuers or twin/triple discs.

We had originally ordered a OS Giken twin, but after 3 months of waiting and not seeing it anywhere in sight, we opted for a Competition Twin

ok ok but the competition twin was it design for the gti-r or the rwd sr20det am currently looking for a twin disc set up for my gti-r but only found os giken and spec had some bad results with the spec single so would like to try something else exedy makes a twin disc for the rwd sr20det but not sure if it will work in the gti-r gearbox

It doesnt matter, The rwd flywheel with the twin disk setup is the same size as the fwd version. All their twins use the same size plates and pp only difference being the spline count. A rwd SR has the same 1" 24 spline disks as the GTIR does. It bolts right in, only changes are a different TOB which is a given and usually just press out the old bearing from the tob housing and push in the new one. Simple and done.

Only thing to keep in mind with the rwd clutches is the size of the flywheel bolts on the GTiR crank are larger. Its not a big deal to increase the size of the holes though.
