Spring setup questions
I have a couple questions for you guys, going to be having my DET open in the spring for new bearings and had a couple of questions:
- Worth going VE+T over my DET and dropping in my pistons and rods?
- I have been reading people have issues with reusing ARP main studs, anyone have experience with this?
- Also I am looking for a bit more power, looking for anywhere from 450-480whp, I know a 3071r would get me there but would another turbo be better for this job? Looking for power along with response.
-For the power that I am looking to put down would a T2 housing be too small for this or should I be looking at a T3 flanged turbo/manifold?
- I know from Vadim's build thread that log manifolds are garbage on VEs, how are they on DET motors?
- If logs are not worth the money what manifold would you guys suggest?
