Thread: Wastegate clip

Where do I source this wastegate clip that holds the gate to the actuator?

Get a pack of "E-clips" at autozone.

Yeah you can get the assorted e-clips at autozone or most parts stores. I had my wastegate arm fall off once and as temp fix i used a bent small safety pin. I just bent the middle of it down so it clamped nice and tight in the groove. Worked for several days until i got a new clip.

I used a hardcore bread tie.

I used a spade terminal and bent the the sides in. I didn't know Autozone sold e-clips... that spade terminal has been holding fine for well over a year.

Wow! And it actually holds?

Ace hardware for a single one... Plus they seem to be better quality then the shit autozone sells.

Napa sells them also.

Ace for sure though, as well as just about any hardware store.
