Thread: Went to the track today 1/8th

So I went to the track today with my friend and his custom built track car this car was built by him with all custom fabricated parts nothing was bought he made it from the ground up. Couple of shakedown runs to see where the car was at and boy am I impressed what an adreneline rush. On to the pics!!










And my timeslip now just to let you guys know I let off the gas off the line by the 60FT make and I let off again before the end of the 8th mile and was still able to run a decent time this is definately a mid to high 6 second car what a rush lol

Bigger tire? No way man this thing gets plenty traction that was not an issue at all today

Lol its my friends he hoards them lol he has this white one track only then he has a black one with a RB25 in there with a ton of work again all done by him then he has a stock L28ET?? (the stock turbo car) one that he's parting out.

Very nice, not bad for the first time out.

Dude the car is so much faster than what we expected if we could grow some balls and actually stay in it its an easy easy easy 6 second 8th mile car trust me

Yeah you could be in the 60's with the 60ft alone let alone not losing any speed letting off. Pretty simple setup. Is it a stock internal LS1?

Well you going to laugh when I told you I let off I think before the 60ft mark and then again I let off before I got to the trees the car was just a bit too scary for me lol the motor is a completely 100% stcok ls1
