So GT2871R will bolt right into a GTi-R manifold then ? that way i can save few hundred bucks at least hehehe .. what about downpipe ? can i run a open downpipe ? i did it on my last build an love the way it sound it and it felt kind of stronger with an opendownpipe ...

yeah you can run open downpipe, it wont be a problem. I was talking about the log manifold setup with a t3 turbo setup.

Your best bet for your power is to go with the 2871 and gtir manifold though if you want quick response and a good topend.

the gt2871r bolts right up and you can use the stock 02 housing. depending on which housing you get for the compressor you will need to grind the block slightly for the inlet to clear. It usually comes with a 3" inlet which does not clear the block but you can get a gtir type or a 2.75" inlet that clears with no modification. I would not run a open down pipe. Its way too loud for street use. Even with a full 3" exhaust its going to be pretty loud.

Oh i see what u were talking about .. and yes i like that idea , is way better then just a S14 T28 hehehehe (GTi-R manifold and a GT2871R for best top end) ...

yeah ill give it a shoot open downpipe then and if i feel that is too loud ill probably just get a 3" exhaust, and about the housing thats a good info as well hehehe thnks cotrim ..

So, So far it looks like im goin with a GTI-R manifold, GT2871R, CTD downpipe, 555cc injectors, 300zx MAF, ECU mmmm i dont know yet, 255LHP fuel pump am i missin anything at this point ? ..

about ECU what will be my best bet ? and about MAF whats the difference on running MAF or just use a BOV to the athmosphere ? thats my big question on Nissans ..

z32 maf is fine. if you want to run the bov atmospheric you must run the maf in a blow through configuration. fuel pressure gauge and adjustable regulator if you don't have one already.

Ok Z32 MAF it is .. and about the blow through u mean like this ? ..

i found this image here at the forum .. http://www.sr20-forum.com/turbo/30604-blow-thru.html

i really dont care if it goes to the atmosphere or resiculates , whatever is healthy for my set up is what i really care about man .. so resirculate or atmosphere is better ?

yes, maf on the cold side pressure pipe before the throttle body. You can run the bov open no issues.

So it doesnt make a difference if i decide it to resirculate the BOV or just do atmosphere ?

in blow through, no.

In normal draw through yes. If you blow off with it unrecirculated the car will go rich for a second before returning back to normal a/f. If coming to a stop or pushing the clutch in after getting on it and blowing off then it could cause the motor to turn off from running too rich. Most 240sx guys run their bov open and it really doesnt affect it that much. It all just depends on how much air escapes and so on. You can learn to drive around it.

Best to just run blowthrough though. Its much smoother and less hassle.
