if it is, ill say what i said agian gtir set up, s4s, fmic, jwt/calum/nistune ecu.

its been done before, ive done it before, very simple reliable set up, all on a stock jdm de.

only draw back is you must use a p11 tranny. although i feel a p11 tranny is needed for anything over a t25.

stratton.

Im working on the same thing a reliable 300+whp goal and am doing the exact build you mentioned, but why do you say a p11 tranny is a must have?

They are stronger then B13/B14 ones, and have longer gears then B15. P11 trans will cost you $900 or so though.

Even with changing the clutch, it would still need the p11 tranny

Keep torque below 250 ft·lbs (to the wheels), use an appropriately non-aggressive clutch and you should be fine with the B13/B14 transmission.

I am into this too.. tired of stack gears getting damaged. Royal purple 75-90 gave me good results however probably still too thin for +300hp

Do you think this will do the trick too?

or this

i didnt have good luck with the stuff in the blue bottle when i used it back in the day, it wasn't 85/140 though it was 75/90, but i might be mistaken, the bottles may have been silver but it was def valvoline. it made my diff chatter really bad, i put in redline an it was fine.. but now im using 85/140 in the white bottle an its great
