SR20DE Strong 300whp Turbo Set Up ??
Ok, so this is going to be my first Nissan Turbo done by me, ( I had a B13 Turbo that paid to swap and SR20DET into but it blew) but since is goin to be my daily driver i dont want to go too crazy on it and i think a 300whp set up will be just find. I was looking into get a SR20VE but i dont know im not a N/A guy so im just goin to sell my SR20VE and buy my self a T28 set up, so here is my question, What should be a strong and realiable 300WHP turbo set up on my stock SR20DE ? , i have been searching for almost 2 to 3 weeks, have in mind that i was into Hondas and Honda engines dont even hold 250whp on a stock block, thats the only reason im going turbo on my B14. So, so far i have come up with this set up but still searching for my strong and reliable 300whp Turbo Set Up, GTI-R manifold, S15 T28 Turbo, CTD Downpipe, FMIC from CTD mostlikely, 370cc injectors,300zx MAF, ECU (still depating and searching), 255lhp fuel pump and still researching for what else im missing , thats the reason i decide it to start this thread. Thnks u guys and i pressiate any help.

Just goin to add a pic of my B14 so u guys have an idea what im working with hehehehehe .. not the best but i really do love my B14 ..

that ugly red wire is gone hehehe ..

If your set on running a t2 turbo to make 300whp you will need to look into something besides the s15 bb turbo. It can make 300-320whp but you have to push them and when you push a t2 turbo your asking for problems. You should definitely get something w/ a larger compressor wheel such as the 2871r or similar. You will have a much better result and can hit 300whp on about 15-16 lbs pretty easily and it wont overwork the turbo to do so and you wont have to worry it.

If your not set on a t2 you could look into a simple log mani, t3 50 trim turbo setup. That will also hit 300whp without issues on lower boost levels, have a better topend than the 2871 but will be a little more laggy.

Depends on what you want. The rest of your choices are good.

yeah didnt see your injectors, you will need at least 555cc injectors. or suby 520's for a cheaper route.

Thnks ashton, the reason i was saying a S14 turbo it was because i really want it a quick spool, but now that u really mention the disco potatoe is not a bad idea, the reason i didnt want it to got with a larger turbo is cause of the turbo lag, i had a T3/T04E turbo on my last honda build and it wouldnt hit max boost almost at 3800rpm close to 4000rpms, but if i decide it to go with a log manifold and a GT2871R i havent seen anybody that has one for sell all i have seen is protech manifold with a T3 flange ..

I made 300whp @ 15psi with a gt28rs and s4 cams. If I did it over then I think I would have went with a gt2871r for the extra top end.

just use a stock gtir manifold. Its cheap and it works better than a log manifold.
