car getting hot pretty quick
i have an sr20det swap in my car with an aftermarket godspeed radiator and slim fans. the problem im running into is i can only drive the car for about 20 min then the temp will start to creep up. I noticed that one of my slim fan wires melted cause the fan to stop working and it was really hot underneath the hood. there has also been a few time i seen the manifold glowing and i cant push the car since it not tuned so im at stand still. not sure whats wrong with my car or how to fix it at the point just want to see if someone out there may know what needs to be fixed

make sure you have no air pockets in the cooling system. Also the poor tune can cause the car to run hot.

yeah theres no pockets in the cooling system. I hope its the tune thats causing. I plan on getting a stepdown harness and running the stock avenir harness

Do you have a wide band if not get one. you can quickly blow up a motor with a poor tune.

If its rich it shouldn't be causing it to run hot.

the car is not being cooled properly i pretty much eliminated everything except the radiator, fans or the head being messed up so i was gonna put everything back to stock and see if that fixes it. I also took out the thermostat today and the car stayed cool for a long time

What fans where you running? I overheated my turbo P11 with even a Koyo, once I got good quality SPAL's in place the car has no issues cooling.
