Thread: Turbo woes again

alright im coming to my car gurus on here to help me out with this one.

Setup is
de+T
18g turbo
z32 maf
550 injectors
Calum basic with tune for this setup
came off my brothers car and was tuned by sr20gtir
Ok here are the symptoms im facing right now:
Car is running stupid rich
fans turn on right away
breaks up bad and wont rev above 6 grand
Builds boost but its not where it should be at all.
idles at 1500
Check engine light is on i never ever had a b13 that had this ever pop up
Red dot is lit up on the ecu

What i checked:
injectors are good
changed z32 maf
plugs,wires,cap
no boost leaks

At this point im lost and trying to figure this crap out is making me pissed off so need some outside opinions

Check out your coolant temp sensor, the two pin one that the ECU uses.

try it right

Update:
Connection is good and the sensor came from a running motor that ran just fine

Test it out per the FSM, it may be on its way out.

it was an ecu board problem for some reason it wasnt liking the board i had in there. swapped it for another board and put the chips in that one and its tits now. Boost feels so good to be back

These are the classic symtons of a bad board.

with what you explained sounds like a bad board in the ecu..mine ve ran like crap,ecu woudlnt let me pull codes.red led just stayed lit....

the main oem board had corroded and my calum ecu was over with.
