Def either buy a W10/W11 or a W10/W11 OEM Turbo setup and go from there. There will be tons of other parts to do while in there.

Clutch, Axels, Seals, Sensors etc etc but in the end you will have a pretty reliable fun car.

My swap is super reliable and still needs to have all the bugs worked out....idle isn`t perfect...FMIC is jankey...ect.....still fires up every time and puts a HUGE smile on my face every single time i drive it =) on stock boost too.....going with a oem turbo engine takes ALOT of the complication out of doing it.....nothing wrong with booting a de....just a det has everything ready to go.....all the oil lines and water lines are there and you know they`ll all compliment eachother cause they`re OEM.....good luck going turbo....it`s addicting tho....LOL

We don't hate "kits" for our cars because no one buys them because we have great OEM turbo bits from other cars with the turbo version of this engine. That and turbo kits suck ass for the most part. Not that there's anything wrong with a bit of ass play.

Exactly some of the reasons I went with a DET puts a huge smile on my face everytime on stock boost which reads 9lbs on a W10 i believe due to free flowing parts ie intake/exhaust.. Still gotta fix some idle issues which I beleive is a sticky IACV.

My t25 was enough for the first 5 mins MAYBE.....then i wanted more! LOL

My opinion go with a w11 setup on your de motor . Your motor will handle it all day from 7-12 lbs . I now guys who run more but its your daily driver . You have a new clutch so your good there. Axles o would leave alone unless your goin for big power and plan on draging it. You will be in the ball park of $1500 on parts . Again this Will be good power to satisfy you for now . Probably net you around 220whp and that will be night and day compares to your de now and put you in the 13 sec range . I purchased a w11 motor from jdm in NJ for $1300 no shipping picked it up but it had no ecu or intercooler . My first set up was with a eBay intercooler kit and stock w11 ecu . I then switched to a better front mount and piping and a jk tuned b13 ecu on s3 cams and put down 241 . You running a de would make the same if not more on s3s . The de maf is good for just over 250hp same with a good stage 1 clutch. I'll coke over and help you do this when your ready I'll tap the block for the return oil . Let me break down like this ...

-ebay intercooler kit $200-300
-manifold $100 w11/w10 or bluebird
-injectors 370's $80-100
- down pipe. $125 for used one
- jk tuned b13 ecu $150
- w11 turbo gr2560 ball bearing $300-500 screw the journal t25 it spools faster
-walbro new $100 used $50 . Stock pump will do fine on stock boost 7psi.
- oil feed line eBay $45
-used wideband $100-150
-boost gauge $30 .
- fpr adjustable (not needed ) $70
- T-bolt clamps $20 for a set ebay .


BTW you have two modded hondas at your house sell em they are like gold lol !

We did a whole turbo setup on a buddies b13 for less than 900 bucks. Ran ok on the stock clutch for a whole month or so and then started slipping bad, haha.

But yes you can piece together a complete setup for pretty cheap and it will be fun and quick.
