Info on my my turbo (gt35r, t3/t4?)
So I had a complete t25 kit. 370cc injectors, 255 walbro, etc.... But got a house a while back and priorities shifted and let the kit go to my lil bro. Now I'm settled in and back on target. A friend of mine gave me a turbo in which the donor only said it was a 60 trim "he thinks". Than a local shop said it had a gt wheel and was a gt35r. Would a turbo guru chime in please...

not a gt35r

a t3/t4 with a t31 turbine that's for sure.

Hate to sound like a newb, but would I have been better off with a t25? That shop lost all it credibility when it stated gt35(R) it does not feel ball bearing. I tried typing in the model number in the garret web site but no dice. I'm looking for 300-350 whp stock block, s4's in the near future. Nothing so super fancy. Hopefully on a log manifold if I can find one.

Yeah, that is a bit small to be a GT35r. For 300-350whp it should do it though.

How would be able to tell of its a hybrid. And being that its and a/r 60 it well be a bit laggy but good top end correct. The only thing making me regret getting rid of the t25 kit is its hard finding a decent budget manifold. O2 induction, protech, and any other log manifolds are hard to come by it seems. I'm eyeing the manifold that mazworx makes but it looks like i might have clearance problems as this is going in a b13. Any one have hand on with the mazworx or jgy log many?

I know gspec offers a log manifold at a decent price.

What would be my biggest draw back with a log. My budget for faze one of my build is tight...

the log manifold will do what you want it to. But a T3 flanged GTiR may be a better bet, minus the block clearance issues.

the top mount log manifold will work fine for what you want.
