How did your input shaft bearing look? I'm asking because my 6 speed blew the same way and we are pretty sure it was from the input shaft bearing going first.

As for daily wheel hop.... Aside from motor mounts, rims that are ten pounds or less, and healthy control arm bushings. The only thing i can say is its just pedal control but i trust you know your car enough by now.

Just for shits though have you car swapped with a friend at all to see if he gets the same issues so maybe someone else has a personnal feel to the issue rather than just throwing ideas at it left and right?

i've let my friend drive the car a few times but he's to afraid to launch it because well.. we know what happens.. lol.. i've driven his car which is setup very similar to mine except he has BC coilovers and his car is much more friendly.. tho when he had stock struts it was even worse then my car..

the input shaft bearing was fine, and that was my b13 box just to be clear.

If the difference between yours and your friends car is just the bc coilovers he has, maybe the agx's on yours just isn't enough to avoid it hopping

true that man, i'd hoped putting NEW agx's on would help, an they did.. just not enough one day i'll get coilovers also..

I did the same thing to my b13 trans so I upgraded to a 6spd. I also went from agx to BC coilovers and had full ES bushings in the car and went solid motor mounts. No matter what I still had wheel hop on any tire but slicks. While your doing suspension work get traction bars or no amount of money you toss at it will help. Trust me! Oh but on a good note you can wheel hop for miles and the 6spd won't break but your teeth might.

Ok so attacking the problem from the other end: When was your last clutch/flywheel change up?

Like an oil change ago.. I went from my jwt/b15 setup to a brand new fx500

Well for now i put the jwt/b15 clutch setup back on since im going 6spd i cant use the fx500 so im selling it.. also put another trans on, its actually all the guts from the one i cracked stuffed into the bellhousing/case lumpy sheered 3rd gear off in lol, nates son actually put the 2 together with a lil instruction from nate who had seen me do it a few times.. seems they did a pretty good job tho.

also got around to installing/test fitting the custom solid mounts nate made..

we figure that we can trim off quite a bit of material an it would still be just as strong..

we may have some of these for sale soon if anyones interested..
