I wonder if the metal is too brittle now. Looks like it broke behind the weld.

ES Suspension bushings in the front should help with some of your wheel spin.....

got the manifold fixed, again, all the way around this time lol.. dude said he filled the mani with gas or something not sure if that makes it stronger or penetrate more or what.. its not pretty but its beefy an hopefully will hold..

also have some 4 layer stainless turbo and wastegate gaskets coming in for when i put it back together.. but i also wanna try to get my EBC hooked up and make it so my cams will activate individually.. speaking of cams, i wanna install my n1's while im at it

Inert gas is used because oxidation is bad.

annnnnnnnd shes back together.. installed my new SPAL fan while i was at it, but didnt get the ebc done or wire the vvl to activate independently or install my n1s i did install the smallest spring i have for my wastegate, i think before when i tried it on the other turbo i only got like 3-5 psi or something really low, but now im gettin 7-8 or 9 maybe.. was hoping for really low psi so i could take more advantage of the ebc..

Looking good!

I would recommend some exhaust wrap as well as a pusher fan in front of the radiator. The Manifold being so close to the radiator will worry me a good bit even considering the insulating "air gap" between the 1 & 3 runners. Cheap insurance me thinks

Nice!

Did you get the wheel hop sorted? I started experiencing it now with my VE-T, when I was N/A this wasn't a problem, but now I'm scared of breaking trannies

meh wheel hops a bitch, either i do a huge burnout, or it hops..

everything seems to be ok since having the wastegate fixed except 1 thing, a mystery noise.. i cant tell if its a vibration or rattle or what...

doesnt seem to be boost related like i was thinking at first, it seems to be pretty consistent at the 5250 mark on the tach an is gone by the 5500 mark.. im going to go over everything this weekend and try to get my ebc setup an vvl wired to activate seperately, once all that is done, an if i fix the noise or atleast find out if its a big deal THEN i will install the n1's..

So I believe the noise issue is due to the wastegate spring being to soft an its rattling open which lets a ton of exhaust go around the turbo and out the wastegate an back into the exhaust.. which also makes for shitty spool up.. im wondering if its also killing my mpg as it seems to be suckin the fuel down a lot faster then normal..
